Menards carries a lot of cheap stuff (some diamonds in the rough mixed in) but also a lot of name brand stuff that's just as good or better than some of the home depot stuff. Experience with menards composite decking ultradeck (midwest) we are looking at replacing our cedar deck that is faded and in rough condition with a composite deck.

Menards is privately owned and works under a completely different business model. Patriot lighting is the menards brand for lighting. They own manufacturing on many of their products, especially building materials. The vast.majority of these lights are from vaxcel or luminex.
